William Fèvre ranked first in the Gault & Millau magazine issue of september

The best marks were awarded to the William Fèvre wines in the magazine “Grands Crus of Chablis Top 50”. What a godsend for the wine-estate which is ranked high amongst the most prestigious Chablis domains once again.
On the one hand the Grand Cru Les Preuses was rewarded with the highest tasting mark of 18.5 for its elegance, its precision. On the other hand the Grand Cru Bougros Côte Bouguerots was awarded for its complexity and its power. The 3 other selected William Fèvre wines were resounding successes as well while scoring the mark of 18 out of 20. Without any surprise the reputed Grand Cru Les Clos distinguished itself for its minerality, its finish livened up by a lovely and refreshing tension.
As for the Grands Crus Vaudésir and Bougros they were admired for their subtlety, their ampleness and roundness. These dazzling results should enchant connoisseurs of outstanding Chablis who are fond of exceptional crus.
